RVR 7-3 PayPal FC

The lads maintained their unbeaten run today with an emphatic 7-3 win over PayPal FC in Ridgewood. 10 minutes in and Ste Leahy smashes a 25 yarder into the top left hand corner to make it 1-0 and after a couple of sloppy starts in previous weeks all looks good, only for the opposition to go straight down the other end and equalize. That soon turned into a 2-1 deficit but we grabbed a deserved leveller before half time when Ste spanked another into the same spot but this time from the edge of the box.
2nd half and Jimmy Reddin made it 3-2 another edge of the box belter and the lads settled. Keith Martin made it 4-2 with a right footed shot before Jimmy took a bad knock on the top of the foot making it 5. Keith got his 2nd & our 6th heading in a Neil Lawton corner before PayPal grabbed a third. Keith rounded off his "perfect" hat trick with a left foot tap in from all of 3 yards after more great work down the left from Ste. Superb performances all over the pitch.
