Well what a cracker.this was! By far the toughest game we've played to date.  The weather was beautiful,the support was great and the football was just brilliant but I must congratulate the away side.  These lads are definately going forward and credit to them. But today was our day.  The lads were fired up and before long we had one in the net thanks to Luca Fitzsimons and a short range tap in.  It wasn't long after that he buried goal no.2...HT was upon us and Barry gave a very stern team talk to keep the lads focused.  2nd half and game on. The Scads came at us with guns blazin and scored almost instantly.  However we kept going and regained the 2 goal lead with a fine finish from Dean Rossiter.  Again Balscadden came back,making it 3-2.  Cillian Ryan was having none of it and netted a beauty. The game ended at 4-3 because our lads had a " never say die" attitude a very big WELL done to all.
