Well were at home again and the weather was on our side.the pitch was in great condition,(a big thankyou to the groundsmen).  The sideline was buzzing and the players were up for this one.  However Lady Luck stayed in bed this morning and we were unlucky to go a goal down after 15 mins. This wasn't because we were playing badly, this was because we were up against a very good Artane team. It was end to end with really good football from both sides up to HT.

2nd half and we know what we need to do.  We pushed and pushed until we got what we thought was a definite penno, and then a free kick, but for some strange reason the official saw it differently.  As a result, Artane broke and put away no 2.  Did the heads drop...no way, not our lads. They gave 110% and pulled a goal back thru Luca Fitzsimons.

To end,,, this was a very tough game and a game we can learn a lot from. Collectively we showed fantastic team spirit and drive and one player who really stood out was Alex Shortt who gets this weeks MOTM.
