RVR 2-0 Darndale FT

Serious performance by 1-14 tonight to send us through to the Liddy cup 1/4 final. Barely 10 mins on the clock and Marko put us 1 up. After winning the ball in midfield, he drove at the Darndale back line and linked up with Paulie Ryan. The skipper on the night found the run of Marko and he cooly slotted past their keeper at the near post. From there we kicked on and but from some wasteful finishing (Ronan '50p head' Murtagh ðŸ‘€) and hard luck, it could of been more before the break. Colly hit another thundercunt off the bar from 30 yards and a Darndale defender scuffed one of his own post after a great ball in by Gary Doran. Into the 2nd half we sent on JOD and he made it 8 for the season, finishing at the back stick after fine work by Paulie. To a man, all the lads were excellent but special mention to Phyllis McCabe and Bren Turley, who stopped everything Darndale threw at them at the heart of our defence
